
How to replace a motor on a WAM Screw
November 11, 2025WAM Screws are the industry standard for Concrete Producers. They are well engineered and configured to meet the production needs of the Ready-mix Concrete Industry. They are also easy to service and maintain.
If needed, the screw motor can be easily replaced by a few steps;
- Put a sling on the motor and back off the bolts to the reducer.
- The motor’s output shaft slides out of the reducer.
- The part that is spinning near the gearbox use a pry bar and slide it out.
- Remove the NEMA adapter from the motor and add it to the new motor.
- Installation of the new motor is the reverse steps.
