Concrete Batch Plants typically have a life cycle of 25 to 35 years.  Some plants have been in operation for over 50 years.  Assuming the local concrete market stays strong and the existing plant is structurally sound, upgrading an older batch plant with new technology is a viable option for a concrete producer.  While the older 30+ year old plant remained in operation, DHE Inc. installed a new CON-E-CO PLP12S Portable Concrete Batch plant to incorporate the original material handling system.  The final transition time was complete over a weekend.  DHE Inc full engineering services provide conversions and upgrades for existing concrete batch plant operations. New equipment can be installed while existing equipment is left to operate for the producer. A short weekend conversion phase, allows for the new Concrete Batch plant to come up on line at off peak production times.
