MOBILE GRAVEL WASH PLANT

December 2, 2013

Gravel wash plants and washing equipment are now available in portable configurations.  Production of portable wash plants range between 250 and 350 tons per hour.  Designed to be setup and relocated quickly, these mobile plants can be made operational in a few days. Three deck screens can produce 4 different products.  Actual production of each material will be  determined by the raw material splits.  Feed hoppers include grizzly bars on 6″ centers to pre-screen the overs.  Sand & Gravel wash plants can include a sand screw to produce washed material or concrete aggregates. The self contained diesel power unit provides power to operate the stock pile conveyors, 3 deck screen deck and sand screw. Wash water pumps will need to be powered by a electric generator.  The material wash water will typically have the water being introduced on the screening deck washing the aggregate.  The water and fines is collected in the sand screw.  The dirty water passes over the weir in the sand screw and will need to settle in a settling pit maintained by the producer.  Settling pits allow gravity to remove the remaining fines from the water that will be recycled back to the screen deck.  This process provides a closed-loop process.
