Concrete Producers Reduce Electric Bill With CON-E-CO RPM Tilt Mixer MCC
May 28, 2012Being able to control the RPM of the mixer on the fly provides the batch man better control of discharging the mixer and saves on power. Splatter from higher-slump concrete mix designs is greatly reduced by slowing down the mixer RPM at discharge. When the mixer begins to return, the RPM is automatically sped back up to standard mixing speed. The controller can also reduce the mixer RPM between batches, thus further saving electricity.
