With the growth in applications for the WAM ILT level indicator, we just wanted to share a common question from our customers.  The WAM level indicator comes standard with a “L” shaped paddle or blade that fits through a WAM 1-1/2” coupling that is included.  Although the WAM “short” coupling appears to be a standard 1-1/2” fitting, it actually has a flange side that allows for the ease of installation of the level indicator (see picture above).  If you happen to use a standard coupling, you might have a problem getting threads started.  By using the WAM coupling you have the added featured of being able to remove the indicator as a complete unit and not need to disassemble the vane or extension.  As always if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call us at 1.800.434.3462.
